9 September 2017 at the Siam Country Club, Chonburi, Thailand. This was the first Spartan Race to take place in Thailand and people from all age groups turned up to participate in this historic event. I was bib number 4048. My start time was 11:30 am but we ended up starting a little bit later than this. Although it was bright sunshine and hot when the race started, the skies soon darkened and we experienced a full-on thunder storm part way through the race. The rain was very heavy, which made the whole site quite muddy. This was my first experience of an organized Obstacle Course Race and I was hooked. I can’t wait for my next Spartan Race Thailand in May 2018. Aroo !

Second place in the male 0 – 14 age group with a time of 1 Hour 40 Minutes 51 Seconds, 9 Minutes 23 Seconds behind the first place time.
