Muay Thai 2016 Part 1

“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing.  Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do“.

Quote from Leonardo Da Vinci: Italian renaissance inventor, scientist, engineer, architect, artist, and credited with being a “universal genius”.  1452 to 1519 CE.

Training in Spring 2016

I have always had an interest in the martial arts.  Living in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, Muay Thai was the obvious choice to begin my martial arts journey.  In the Spring of 2016, aged 13, I had the opportunity to take basic classes in Muay Thai with some of my friends.  Although the sessions were primarily orientated towards Muay Thai fitness rather than competition, they did teach basic Muay Thai techniques.

These sessions were good preparation for my move into amateur boxing in the UK during the Summer of 2016.
